A ceremony is the one event where the camera has no rights. It cannot ask for a second entrance, it cannot move a guest, and it cannot be the thing anyone remembers being there. Everything else about the craft follows from that.

Positions are chosen before anyone arrives
A ceremony is blocked in advance by everyone except the crew, and the blocking does not move for a better angle. Coverage is planned against it from the back of the room forward, which is why a walkthrough before guests are seated is worth more than any decision available afterwards.
What ceremony videography cannot redo
The walk, the vows and the first look happen once each, and the audio during them decides more about whether the film is watchable than any frame does. The plan is built around the moments with no second take. Everything else gets filled in around them.
Light you are not allowed to change
Adding light to a ceremony changes the room for every person in it, so the venue and the hour set the exposure and the kit list follows. A room dimmer than you would choose is a constraint to shoot inside, not a problem to fix.
