The second year's dividend
Everything learned once is time not spent again — position, timing, who to ask. The hours that went into finding the frame last time go into getting a harder one this time, and the difference shows up in the set rather than on the invoice.
The risk in returning is repeating yourself
A crew that knows a site will reach for what worked. The guard against a second year that reads as a copy of the first is deciding in advance what was missed, then treating the familiar shots as already taken. Knowing a site is worth having and worth spending. It is not worth coasting on.
